They're well-adjusted

The kittie cats are settling into their new home, and have made some discoveries...

Samantha has discovered that the new couch is pretty comfortable, especially when you snuggle into the corner with lots of pillows.

Johnny has discovered that the stairs is an excellent place to get Dad's attention and to get a nice belly rub.

Out first party

Ricardo and I hosted a small get-together to thank our friends and family for helping us move and supporting us through the greuling home-buying experience. Here are a few photos, thanks to Londa.

Gliders!

This weekend we finally found some (very reasonably priced!) gliders for our porch. Ricardo was able to fit them in our car (it took 2 trips) -- so we didn't even have to pay delivery charges.

We got 2 of them -- one for each of us.

They might not look comforable, but they are! I'll look for some cushions later.

We successfuly painted our master bedroom with these colors: the left swatch for the walls, the middle one for the ceiling and the one on the right for the woodwork. It was a long, grueling process (I really hate painting ceilings), but we really like the finished product.
