On early Monday morning I got off the bus, rounded the corner towards Penn Ave, and stopped dead in my tracks. It looked like a bunting fairy visited the District over the weekend.
My favorite was the Treasury building -- this big building is now completely wrapped in bunting.

The Breadline (a big lunch spot for White House staffers, and home of the $10 grilled cheese sandwich) was feeling the spirit, as well as...

but the one that made me laugh out loud, was this little liquor store on 14th St. -- they want to be your inauguration headquarters! ;)
