Our color doesn't compare to my old stomping grounds in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, but our neighborhood has a few nice sugar maples.

The colors are just starting to pop.

Taken on my walk home from the bus stop -- love to walk in the dry leaves.

I love your whole blog. I am going to make homemade apple sauce for the first time for Thanksgiving. Your pictures were a wonderful inspiration. I will use Martha's recipe. I miss the autumnal features out here in San Diego, but come the dead of winter, I don't miss the high heating bill. Keep us up to date with the wonderful pics.
